This USB drive is already formatted so when you do your FRESH install of the PS4 Firmware, just load this "up-to-date" firmware when installing your F4TMOD. All thumbdrives are loaded and tested for compatibility with your system. Note: to keep prices to a minimum, thumbdrives will be in a variety of colors, pink, blue, green etc.,..)
